EUTAW: TS Police Support League President Sheila H. Smith presented a check for $1000.00 to the Eutaw Police Department at City Hall. These funds will supplement the fuel charges incurred by the Department, and have been made monthly on an ongoing basis. Smith said, "We are proud to continue our support of the Eutaw Police Department." League Treasurer Billy McFarland stated, "We look forward to continue to partner with Mayor Latasha Johnson, Chief Tommy Johnson, and all Eutaw Police Department officers and staff to benefit citizens for a better Greene County. Our thanks goes to Sheriff Jonathan “Joe” Benison—without whose support through local Constitutional Amendment 743, none of these gifts would be possible."
