EUTAW: The T.S. Police Support League, Inc. (www.greenecountylawenforcement.org) has pledged a matching grant to the Greene County Historical Society to be used for repairs to the historic Vaughn-Morrow House in Eutaw, which serves as headquarters for the society and its annual pilgrimage. All donations received between now and March 1, up to $10,000.00, will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the league. This donation is being made in memory of Thomas C. Smith, a former president of the Greene County Historical Society. TSPSL, Inc. President Sheila Smith said, "We are proud to partner with the GCHS to help preserve one of the historic treasures in our community." Community members interested in making donations towards this pledge are encouraged to contact GCHS President Michael Turner at 205-292-0015.
